driftlet needs tags

LEGACY

This WFD was imported from old blog posts scattered across my files. It may still be relevant or it may not. Kept for the record.

I just secured the domain I wanted for Driftlet. Time to write a blog post about next steps.

Except I forgot my password. And Driftlet has no forgot password mechanism. Because I never built one.

Good thing 1Password remembered what I couldn't.

the actual problem

I keep wanting to write different kinds of posts—updates, rambles, documentation—and they all end up in one undifferentiated pile. Tags would fix this. Tags seem more important than the WYSIWYG editor I've been procrastinating on.

next steps

  • Add tags to posts
  • Add npm run user:reset command (clearly needed)
  • Host Driftlet publicly so people can actually use it
  • Procrastinate

Update 27/06/25: Tags are in. Still no npm run user:reset command. The irony is not lost on me.
